Vancouver Public Library:

DESCRIPTION: Funded by the City of Vancouver, Vancouver Public Library is the third largest public library system in Canada, with millions items borrowed annually. The library's origins go back as far as 1869.

PARKING: Underground parking below library with designated spaces at elevator to Promenade across from library entrance.

ENTRANCE: Both entrances to the Promenade have automatic doors with easy access.

INTERIOR: Low service counter. Elevators can be operated by remote available at the Information Desk on Level 2 (entrance level). View/Voice, Oscar, Optelec, and ALDS equipment available as well. All tables are accessible and each floor has one adjustable workstation.

WASHROOMS: All accessible. Level 2 has a large single unit to accommodate wheelchair and attendant.
